Full Details

The one, the only, the original!  But tickets are limited!  The Palm Springs Preservation Foundation’s Retro Martini Party fundraiser checks all the boxes: timeless architecture, perfect ambiance, and great company.  This year’s stunning venue is The Ware Estate designed by modernist architect Don Boss and completed in 2009.  For ten years of his professional career, Boss worked in the firm of renowned architect A. Quincy Jones, the designer of Sunnylands (1966) and co-designer of the Town & Country Center (1948) with Paul R. Williams.  The 8,060 square-foot open-plan Ware Estate is sited on a prominent one-and-a-half-acre lot in the Old Las Palmas neighborhood with spectacular mountain views.  The Ware Estate features a resort-like, natural environment by landscape architect Steve Martino designed with maximum privacy in mind.  Relax beside one of the estate’s seven infinity-edge pools with your martini in hand and watch the sun set behind the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains.  For both gentlemen and ladies this is the event to show off your most sophisticated midcentury cocktail attire.

The Palm Springs Preservation Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to educate and promote public awareness of the importance of preserving the historical resources and architecture of the city of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley area.”  PSPF offers free membership as a public benefit.  To learn more about the work of the foundation see www.pspreservationfoundation.org.
