Bobby Berk, design expert and Emmy-nominated host of Netflix’s Queer Eye, will open his latest project, an idyllic desert modern escape, to the public for the first time during Modernism Week — May. With over 5,000 square feet of living space, this unique Spanish-style property has been transformed into a world class destination, with modern touches and an emphasis of Bobby Berk’s design style throughout.
The design scheme reflects the colors and textures of the desert landscape, and seamlessly integrates with the outdoors. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from this 2 ½ acre hillside setting as you stroll past balconies, a pool and hot tub, and private, covered seating areas found throughout the property. Indoors, you will appreciate Bobby’s aspirational yet attainable style, on display throughout the 5 bedroom, 5 ½ bathroom main house as well as in the two casitas with their own kitchens and bathrooms.
This hidden gem of an estate in Palm Desert offers the perfect oasis to get away from it all, and yet is just minutes away from Palm Springs. Home Tour guests will be shuttled to the property from a nearby location due to private roads.
Modernism Week sponsors Brizo, Dunn-Edwards Paints, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting, Hunter Douglas, JennAir, Outer and Willis generously contributed to this project.
